Dr Alison Callwood recognised at Women of the Year 2025 Awards

The awards are held annually to celebrate, connect and empower extraordinary women.

Dr Callwood at the Women of the Year Awards 2025, held on 13 October at the Royal Lancaster London.

Guests were hand-picked to attend the in recognition of their remarkable contributions to society. Dr Callwood is founder and CEO of , a tech4good company that ensures authentically diverse hiring using online interviews and assessments. 

 

It was an honour to be invited to the Women of the Year Lunch and Awards and to share the room with 400 remarkable, passionate individuals who have made meaningful contributions to society. The event was a powerful reminder that while significant progress has been made toward gender equality, there is still more work to be done. I left feeling inspired, energised and hopeful about the future and about what we can achieve together through a shared commitment to making a lasting difference. Dr Callwood is the recipient of multiple awards in recognition of her work to make recruitment processes more inclusive, including the Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award. She also teaches as an associate professor on the undergraduate Midwifery course at ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ and has been involved in the midwifery profession for over 30 years.
