Macroeconomics Network in the Southwest Workshop
The School of Social Sciences, Economics at the ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ is happy to co-organise and co-sponsor the 6th edition of the Macroeconomics Network in the Southwest Workshop, together with the at the University of Bath, and the at the University of Bristol.
The Macroeconomics Network in the Southwest Workshop is a leading academic workshop in macroeconomics for the Universities of the Southwest (Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton and ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½). Its purpose is to create research ties, foster research collaborations and exchange feedback on cutting-edge macroeconomic research.
The workshop will take place on 7 November at the University of Bath. This year the network will also feature a PhD workshop on 6 November, with presentations from PhD candidates from the participating institutions.
The workshop will focus on a variety of topics, such as portfolio choice, household borrowing, inflation, entrepreneurship, the supply of safe assets, and the valuation of the US corporate sector.
The keynote speaker is from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
