What’s it like being a PhD supervisor?
In this video, Dr Brigitte Stangl talks about what it's like being a PhD supervisor and why she finds it so valuable.
Brigitte explains that “the supervisor gets to learn a lot” from their student through collaborating together to find solutions to research challenges: “it is a win-win situation for both sides”.
She adds: “it makes me feel really good to support the next generation and it is fun to see students grow and strive”.
Brigitte joined the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the ۿ۴ý in 2012 and is a Senior Lecturer in Tourism as well as the Acting Director of the Centre for Digital Transformation in the ۿ۴ýor Economy.
