Transforming the perception of the hospitality and tourism industry as a workplace: teaching transferable skills in an AI environmentSocio-emotional skills are the basic requirements for working in the hospitality and tourism industry. These skills are transferable skills and also highly desired in other industries. But how can these skills be taught at an early learning stage, within an AI-dominated learning environment? Which psychological effects apply, and how can the development of transferable skills contribute to an intercultural society? An interdisciplinary approach combining Tourism Management, Psychology, Sociology and ICT.
