Texts and Contexts of International Humanitarian Law: Mexican and Colombian Interventions in the Law of Non-International Armed Conflict Amidst the Long Cold War (1948-2000s)My project aims to trace the contributions of Latin American lawyers, statesmen, and non-state actors to the law of armed conflict. I use as case studies the interventions of Mexicans and Colombians at the international and regional conferences regulating war in the "long" Cold War period.
