I wanted to study a music degree that was renowned in the audio industry, which also used strong elements of maths and physics.

I’ve decided to pursue a career in the industry after graduation and am going to join the Amazon Alexa team in London." 

The modules offered by the University have been very useful and relevant, the lecturers have always been knowledgeable and passionate about their subject, and the placement year has been instrumental in my future career. The �ۿ۴�ý has played a huge role in my current career success.

My three years at �ۿ۴�ý have enabled me to enhance my development skills, which I’m now using to maintain existing tools and develop new tools to provide customers with applications to support their businesses.

I believe the placement year is an important part of every student’s experience at �ۿ۴�ý and crucial in discovering your next career goals.

During my placement I picked up an enormous amount of technical knowledge, but I believe that the soft skills I acquired are even more important. By working in a team on a day-to-day basis, I increased my team-working, communication and presentation skills which were crucial during my final year.
