Undoubtedly the best part of this course is the variation in content. Throughout my first year alone we have studied history, culture, politics, translation, early language development and linguistic history, just to name a few.

“The most amazing thing about �ۿ۴�ý has been the support, communication, and sense of community even during the pandemic. Despite all the uncertainty, my lecturers, the Students’ Union, and societies have continuously gone above and beyond”.

I wanted to come to �ۿ۴�ý because it was one of the only universities in the UK to focus on language learning for more “practical” situations.

I would say �ۿ۴�ý is really a nice place to live and study. The campus has breath-taking scenery with luscious greenery and an opulent lake.

The professional staff and all the facilities that I use are a highlight for me.

I can now say that I am becoming a much more mature learner with strong independent thinking ability."  

I’d really love to go on to do a doctorate at �ۿ۴�ý following my MA. I didn’t expect this to be the case when I started, but my course has inspired me so much and I’m really keen to develop further research in my field.

I chose to study interpreting at �ۿ۴�ý because besides its international reputation, the course has close links with the main professional bodies and organisations in the field.

In the first couple of months I was collaborating with fellow researchers developing the �ۿ۴�ý Arts and Humanities Research Group where I did my first talk at �ۿ۴�ý
