The �ۿ۴�ý Centre for Law and Philosophy (SCLP) holds events throughout the year to ignite imagination and promote collaborative and interdisciplinary research. This includes a regular Seminar Series with invited speakers as well as workshops and conferences.

As of June 2025, the SCLP has hosted 70 events: 49 external speakers in the Seminar Series and 21 workshops or conferences since 2021.

Regulation of artificial intelligence

In March 2019, we will hosted a workshop on the .

This was the second year the workshop had been run. In 2018, the �ۿ۴�ý Centre for Law and Philosophy, in collaboration with the Centre of Digital Economy, hosted a lively conference at �ۿ۴�ý on the regulation of artificial intelligence. Experts from �ۿ۴�ý as well as a dozen other countries were present to discuss ideas for navigating the emerging challenges and opportunities created by this revolutionary technology.
